Mechanical EngineerDematic is seeking talented Mechanical Engineers to join our Global Project Engineering team! The Mechanical Engineering team performs engineering assignments with clear and specified objectives while on multi-discipline project teams. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.Tasks and Qualifications:Participates in the design of complex systems that integrate mechanical hardware, controls components, and softwareProvides support in complex material specification, and preparation of engineering sketches, manufacture equipment, and layout drawings, with appropriate follow-upParticipate in recommending ideas related to productivity improvement, cost reduction and improvement in customer satisfactionCreate & check layouts, detailed drawings, Bills of Materials for compliance to engineering standards, safety requirements and customer specificationsParticipate in design reviews with cross functional team members to identify and resolve readily identifiable, clearly-defined problemsFollow Purchase Request and Order Entry processes to purchase equipmentWork with team members and customer to solve problems and troubleshoot equipment on-sitePerform site audits to collect project and solution information as requiredSupport on-site installation and engineering commissioning efforts as requiredWhat We are Looking For:BS/BA in Mechanical Engineering or related field of engineering(5+) years of industry related experience or mechanical engineering preferredSuccessfully applies knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and proceduresComprehends project schedules, due dates, and basic financial aspects of project executionAble to plan work for themselves and others to meet requirementsEffective collaboration skills with diverse, and multinational colleaguesCollaborate with colleagues across disciplines within a project teamKnowledge of (Proficient in) Cad design software; AutoCAD or similarExperience with Microsoft Office programs, Word, Excel, TEAMSAble to maintain accurate and detailed recordsApplicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States.
