General Motors is hiring a Mechanical Journeyperson Pipefitter to support our advanced automotive manufacturing operations in Detroit, MI. In this role, you will install, maintain and repair industrial piping systems for water, air, steam, gases and process fluids that keep our plants running safely and efficiently. You will interpret blueprints and P&IDs, lay out and fabricate pipe, perform welding or mechanical joining, and troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
