Join us and help shape the future!Job Summary:The Mechanical Integration Lead is a hands-on leader responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the mechanical integration team. This role ensures the successful assembly of large-scale backup power systems by coordinating workflow, supporting team development, and maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. The Lead works closely with engineering, quality, and production teams to ensure that all mechanical integration tasks—from Tank Prep to Engine Finish—are completed accurately and on schedule.Who You Are:Ability to stand, kneel, stoop, or crouch for 8–10 hours per dayLift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbsWork in both indoor and outdoor environments in varying weather conditionsMust pass a background check and drug screeningKey Responsibilities:Lead and coordinate the daily activities of the mechanical integration teamEnsure proper installation of generator systems including exhaust, fuel, air, and hydraulic componentsMonitor progress and quality of work to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and safety standardsProvide on-the-job training, coaching, and performance feedback to team membersCollaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve technical issues and improve processesReview and interpret blueprints and technical documentation to guide team executionTrack and report on project milestones, material needs, and labor efficiencyPromote a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvementQualifications & Experience:High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification preferred5+ years of mechanical integration or related experience, with 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership roleStrong mechanical aptitude and advanced knowledge of mechanical systemsProficient in blueprint reading, mechanical assembly, and troubleshootingForklift certification and experience requiredFamiliarity with welding and plumbing practicesExcellent leadership, communication, and organizational skillsMust wear required PPE and adhere to all safety protocolsReliable attendance and a proactive, team-oriented mindsetAt JTS, we take pride in producing high-quality, American-made products while providing a workplace where employees can thrive.
