We're seeking a Mechanical Estimator in Salt Lake City, UT to evaluate project opportunities and prepare accurate cost projections for commercial and industrial construction.

Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed estimates for commercial and industrial mechanical construction projects.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and bid packages to determine scope.
- Perform quantity takeoffs for HVAC equipment, ductwork, piping, and controls.
- Develop pricing for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Create estimates for negotiated, hard bid, design-build, and design-assist projects.
- Solicit and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Identify value-engineering opportunities to improve project cost performance.
- Lead project handoff meetings with operations teams after winning a contract.
- Maintain estimating databases and historical cost information for future bids.
