Mechanical Engineer

Mechanical Engineer | Mission-Critical Facilities | U.S. Citizenship Required

Now hiring a degreed Mechanical Engineer with Revit experience to join an established engineering team working on mission-critical facilities, including data centers, laboratories, and command/control centers.

This is a great opportunity for a mechanical engineering professional with a few years of HVAC design experience who wants to contribute to complex projects and grow professionally.

Candidates must be U.S. Citizens and have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Revit experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design HVAC systems for mission-critical, institutional, and commercial facilities.
• Prepare load calculations, ventilation calculations, construction documents, specifications, and design analyses.
• Perform energy modeling and support compliance with ASHRAE 90.1 and ASHRAE 62.1 standards.
• Select HVAC equipment and support project cost estimates and fee proposals.
• Coordinate with engineers, designers, and project teams to ensure quality and project deadlines are met.
• Support construction administration, shop drawing reviews, and as-built documentation.
• Assist with LEED documentation and submissions as applicable.
• Lead project activities and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers as experience allows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering; a master’s degree is a plus.
• Approximately 3+ years of mechanical/HVAC design experience .
• Proficiency with Revit and Autodesk Building Design Suite/BIM tools .
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Valid driver’s license required for government clearance.
• Experience with institutional and commercial projects preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and project coordination skills.
• PE license preferred, but not required .
• CEM, LEED Green Associate, or LEED AP BD+C credentials are a plus.
