Mechanical Engineer

Base pay range : $30.00/hr - $34.00/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and integrate hydraulic components and routing for large mining trucks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hydraulics, engine installation, cooling, electrical, manufacturing, and suppliers)
• Support new product introduction, issue resolution, and cost-conscious engineering
• Coordinate with international teams (India and Decatur) and attend occasional site/factory visits

Required Skills:

• Mechanical design and integration of components (preferably hydraulic systems)
• Issue resolution and analytical problem-solving
• 3D routing of hoses/tubes and understanding of manufacturing & cost considerations

Preferred Skills:

• Python programming
• Manufacturing or shop‑floor systems experience (not mandatory)
• Familiarity with agile software practices
