Mechanical EngineerOur client, a large defense contractor, has an immediate opening for a Mechanical Engineer to work a flex schedule from their Pittsfield, MA facility. As a mechanical engineer for the Surface Ships Program, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for Designing, Testing, Implementing, Building, and Installing equipment on Surface Ships.We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences:Electromechanical equipment designElectronics Packaging designProduction Support, Installation SupportEnvironmental Testing, Modeling & Analysis, and/or Drawing developmentQualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus 6 months relevant experience.Clearance Requirements: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
