Job Description

• Design and develop custom lifting, rigging, and engineered mechanical solutions
• Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks
• Perform engineering calculations to validate designs and ensure product performance
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to support fabrication and production processes
• Review customer specifications and develop customized design solutions
• Support project quotation and technical proposal activities
• Troubleshoot design and manufacturing challenges throughout project execution
• Participate in product improvement and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support occasional customer site visits and project-related travel throughout the local region

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline
• 4+ years of mechanical design engineering experience
• Strong proficiency with SolidWorks
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Hands-on engineering approach with the ability to work closely with production teams
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience designing metal-based products, components, or fabricated assemblies preferred
