Mechanical EngineerWe are seeking a qualified, innovative production engineer to join our growing organization. In this position, the candidate will be supporting new work coming into Operations and will be creating manufacturing packages to produce high-quality product. The candidate will be working with HVAC systems and components including but not limited to: enthalpy & sensible plate heat exchangers, energy recovery wheels, gas and electric heaters, hot water coils, cold water coils, DX coils, filter racks, control dampers, fan array systems, etc.Job duties to include, but not limited to:Project management and project ownership from job release to job completionPurchasing components and vendor managementCommunicate with clients and vendors to obtain materials and/or equipment neededCreating manufacturing packages including shop drawings, and assembly instructionsProviding shop/Manufacturing supportCreate engineering solutions for sheet metal design optimizationParticipate and/or lead Continuous Improvement effortsSupport sales team with design review to ensure successful installationQualifications:Engineering Degree requiredSolidWorks experience required2D CAD experience requiredExperience in the commercial HVAC industry is a plusLean six sigma certification is a plusSkills:Attention to small detailsMust work well in a team setting, and have great verbal and written communication skillsOrganizational skillsEfficient with time managementCritical thinker / Problem SolverGood attitude and motivated personality are key in this roleSolution focused mindset when faced with production challengesProficient in Microsoft applicationsPhysical requirements:Must be able to work in an office and manufacturing environment.
