If you're excited about working in a fast-paced environment where your ideas matter and your contributions have a direct impact, we'd love to meet you.About the RoleAs a Mechanical Engineer II, you'll play a key role in developing the mechanical hardware behind our energy storage products.

You'll work on everything from early concepts and CAD modeling to prototype builds, testing, validation, and production release. This is a hands-on engineering position where you'll spend time designing, building, testing, and refining products, not just sitting behind a computer. You'll collaborate closely with electrical, firmware, manufacturing, and operations teams to develop reliable, production ready designs. We're a growing company, so everyone contributes wherever needed, and your work will have a direct impact on the products we deliver.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and maintain detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using a parametric CAD platformDevelop mechanical components and assemblies for injection-molded, die-cast, and sheet metal applicationsBuild and test prototypes, collect performance data, and improve designs based on real-world testingDesign product enclosures, mechanical packaging, and thermal management solutions for electronicsPerform tolerance stack-up analyses and select appropriate materialsDesign for manufacturability (DFM) and assembly (DFA)Prepare engineering release packages including drawings, BOMs, and ECOsDesign fixtures, tooling, and test equipmentParticipate in design reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teamsWork with suppliers and manufacturing partnersSupport UL and other product certification effortsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline3–5 years of experience taking products from concept through productionExperience with Onshape, SolidWorks, Creo, or similar CAD softwareWorking knowledge of GD&THands-on experience building and testing prototypesExperience with electronics packaging and thermal managementKnowledge of injection molding, die casting, sheet metal, material selection, DFM/DFAStrong engineering documentation and communication skillsAdaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environmentPreferred QualificationsBattery energy storage or power electronics experienceExperience with UL-regulated productsFEA (structural and/or thermal) experienceSheet metal design experienceKnowledge of cosmetic finishesExperience with PLM/PDM systems and ECO/ECN processesExperience designing test fixturesWhat We OfferCompetitive salary up to $120,000 annually, based on experienceComprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) plan with company matchPaid time off and company holidaysA collaborative, mission driven culture where every team member makes an impactThe opportunity to work on innovative clean energy technologyCareer growth and professional development opportunitiesExposure to cutting edge energy storage systems, power electronics, and cloud-connected technologiesWork Authorization: Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
