Mechanical EngineerFreese and Nichols is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our mechanical, electrical, and plumbing practice in our Fort Worth, TX office. As Mechanical Engineer, you will support facility and building systems projects by applying standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria while continuing to grow your technical capabilities and progress toward professional registration.Responsibilities:Perform heat load calculations and related engineering analysesSupport ductwork layout and sizing and HVAC equipment selectionDraft technical reports and support project documentationProvide cost estimation support for assigned projectsSupport design of building controls and DDC systemsLay out and size basic plumbing water and drainage systemsCoordinate with vendors, contractors, clients, and multidisciplinary project teamsDeliver quality work within established project scope, schedules, and design guidelinesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or relatedEIT1+ years of related experienceFamiliarity with ASHRAE codes and standards and applicable building, mechanical, and plumbing codesExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbout Freese and Nichols:At the heart of our culture is our LEADS values (L earn continuously, E ngage as family, A ct with integrity, D eliver quality, and S erve always).
