We continue to collaborate with industry experts to advance our products, ensuring safety and efficiency for a range of applications from air to petro-chemical.Duties/ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with a broad range of coworkers in engineering, tooling, manufacturing, quality control, HSE, maintenance, and other departmentsDrive continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, reliability, and product qualityProvide technical support to coworkers, customers, suppliers, and industry auditorsSustain existing productsDevelop new productsRevise product models and drawings according to a company-defined engineering change processImprove and create new manufacturing, inspection, and test equipmentRevise and create company design standards, work instructions, specifications, data sheets, catalogs, QMS documents, standard operating procedures, process flowcharts, inspection procedures, and other technical literatureRead, interpret, and follow the requirements of common industry standards and specificationsPerform failure analyses and write reportsWrite corrective actions and assess returned materialPresent technical information via Teams and in person to individuals and groupsProvide dispositions to deviation requests from internal and outside suppliersFollow and, when needed, improve the company's ISO 9001 documentsPerform other duties assigned by the Flow Connections engineering manager.Education and ExperienceBachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited schoolProficiency with SolidWorks to create parts, assemblies, and drawingsProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams1+ year of experience using a PDM software, e.g., Teamcenter, SolidWorks PDM5+ years of experience working as an engineer in an industrial manufacturing environment2+ years of experience with flow control products2+ years specifying common metals for commercial and industrial products, e.g., carbon steels, low-alloy steels, stainless steels1+ year of experience using ERP software, e.g., JDE, SAPBasic knowledge of Quality Management SystemsBasic knowledge of common metal manufacturing equipment and processes, e.g., lathe, mill, welding, press brakeBasic knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing per ASME Y14.5MBasic facility with common measuring instruments, e.g., calipers, micrometers, depth gaugesWork Environment & CultureFoster and embody the Ideal Tridon Group values :Devoted to Customers – Builds trusted relationships through service and reliability.We Care – Acts with integrity, accountability, and respect for others.Passionate About Growth – Committed to personal and team development.Positive Energy – Creates a collaborative, energizing work environment.We Find a Way – Resourceful, determined, and solutions-focused.An Equal Opportunity EmployerWe do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability, genetic information, or any other status protected by law or regulation.
