Mechanical Engineer - Belding, MIDISHER is currently partnering with a company that is designing and building industrial saw equipment for customers who need reliable, precision cutting solutions in their search for a Mechanical Engineer. In this role, you will own the design details that turn concepts into buildable equipment, creating 3D models, manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and equipment manuals, while working closely with senior engineers and the shop floor.What it's like to work here:You will be part of a hands-on team where engineering and manufacturing work side by side. They value practical problem-solvers, detail-oriented designers, and people who take ownership of their work.What you will get to do:Create 3D part files and large assemblies using SolidWorksDevelop detailed 2D and 3D manufacturing drawings ready for productionBuild and maintain accurate Bills of MaterialsSupport senior mechanical engineers in the design and release of equipmentAssist with component sizing and selection, including bearings, motors, cylinders, and structuresReview drawings for accuracy before they reach the manufacturing floorWork directly with manufacturing to troubleshoot and resolve build issuesCreate complete equipment manuals for internal and customer useWhat will make you successful:Associate's degree in Engineering or related field required1–5 years of experience using SolidWorks in a professional settingStrong mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving abilityDetail-oriented and self-motivated work styleAbility to collaborate effectively with a cross-functional teamProven ability to complete projects with limited supervisionExperience in machine design and machining proceduresExperience with Microsoft Excel and WordPneumatics and hydraulics experience is a plus
