These designs are mainly related to Wireline and MWD type instruments or some downhole tools. The designer is responsible for completing detailed designs of all components within the final layout and provides assistance in building and testing the final product and assemblies.Nature of Duties/ResponsibilitiesProvide design  layouts for  mechanical parts and assemblies                       Detail design of mechanical piece parts and assembliesSpecify mechanical tolerances and determine stack-up for proper assemblyMaintain documents engineering change statusPrepare and update assemblies and BOM’sProvide design clarifications to machining vendorsEducation and Experience•           Two years Mechanical drafting or technical degree•           Knowledge of machine shop practice is a plus•           4-6 years of experience with Solid-Works•           Knowledge of Auto-Cad 14.
