Elastomeric Components EngineerA tier-1, global supplier of engineered elastomeric components, Ebco has been serving OEMs throughout a variety of industries including commercial vehicle, agricultural, construction, turf care, defense, HVAC, power generation and more for over 75 years.The ideal candidate will be a motivated, self-starter eager to join a team of dedicated engineers responsible for supporting a variety of roles related to new product design, application, testing and more. In addition to working directly with our customers, the candidate will also interface closely with members of our Sales, New Product Implementation and Product Quality groups to provide a high-level of technical support in a comprehensive and timely manner.The ideal candidate will be a motivated, self-starter eager to join a team of dedicated engineers responsible for supporting a variety of roles related to new product design, application, testing and more. In addition to working directly with our customers, the candidate will also interface closely with members of our Sales, New Product Implementation and Product Quality groups to provide a high-level of technical support in a comprehensive and timely manner.ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive technical support to both internal and external customersFacilitate customer-facing interactions including virtual meetings, on-site visits, email, etc.Interpret customer and industry standard specifications to ensure all product requirements are metContribute to the design, development and physical validation of productsSupport the creation and maintenance of technical drawings using PTC CreoAssist in the design, development and maintenance of physical testing proceduresDrive continuous improvement related to internal processesSkillsPositive attitude and professional demeanorStrong written and verbal communicationStrong interpersonal skillsStrong mechanical skillsOutstanding problem-solving skillsExcellent project management, including organizational and time management skillsFamiliarity with basic engineering and manufacturing principlesProficient in basic computer skills: Microsoft Office, ExcelProficient in the interpretation of engineering drawingsProficient in CAD (PTC Creo preferred)Experience with finite element and/or multibody dynamics analysis preferredQualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering or relevant technical field2+ years of relevant experienceExperience in elastomeric materials, product design and/or manufacturing preferred
