Are you a hands-on Mechanical Design Engineer who enjoys taking products from concept to reality? We're seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with strong SolidWorks expertise and real-world experience designing sheet metal structures, machined parts, enclosures, and mechanical assemblies . This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with technicians, prototype builds, fabrication, and manufacturing teams to bring innovative products to life.
What You'll Do
- Design mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks
- Create engineering drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing documentation
- Drive projects from concept, prototyping, and testing through production
- Apply DFM/DFA principles to improve manufacturability and assembly
- Collaborate directly with machinists, fabricators, suppliers, and technicians
- Support hands-on builds and solve real-world engineering challenges
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- 3+ years of mechanical design experience
- Strong SolidWorks proficiency
- Experience with sheet metal, CNC machining, fabrication, and product development
- Knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing processes
- Hands-on engineering mindset xhqgsiq
