As an Assembler, you'll work with a variety of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components while helping produce high-quality equipment in a collaborative manufacturing environment.RequirementsHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent requiredMinimum 1 year of experience using electrical and/or pneumatic hand toolsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manufacturing instructionsBasic mechanical aptitude and assembly experience preferredJob DutiesAssemble locomotive and mining equipment componentsInstall wiring harnesses and associated electrical componentsInstall and connect piping, tubing, and plumbing systemsPerform sub-assembly and final assembly operationsComplete basic welding and tack welding tasks as requiredAssist with paint and finishing processesMove materials and components throughout the production areaOperate hand, electric, and pneumatic tools safelyInspect completed work to ensure quality standards are metFollow manufacturing specifications and work instructionsCollaborate with team members to improve manufacturing processesSupport a safe, efficient, and organized work environmentPhysical CapabilitiesLift and move materials weighing up to 40 poundsWork at heights up to 20 feet when requiredClimb ladders and work from elevated platformsStand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shiftWear required PPE including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hard hats, and safety shoesWork in an industrial manufacturing environment while maintaining safe work practicesBenefits vary by client and are confirmed at the time of offer.
