Mechanical AssemblerImmediately Hiring in Exton, PA: Mechanical Assembler – 1st AND 2nd Shift, great weekly pay, full benefits, room for advancement, stable work!This role focuses on mechanical assembly and troubleshooting of industrial pump systems. You will build, align, and install mechanical components using a variety of hand and power tools, interpret blueprints and specifications, and perform fabrication work to produce high-quality pump assemblies and related structures. The position requires strong mechanical aptitude, precision, and a commitment to producing reliable, high-performing equipment in a clean, organized shop environment.ResponsibilitiesAssemble pumps and related industrial equipment using blueprints, work instructions, and specifications.Install, align, and secure mechanical components to ensure proper fit and functionality.Fabricate and modify metal parts using cutting, drilling, grinding, and welding equipment.Utilize hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to complete assemblies and verify quality standards.Troubleshoot mechanical issues and assist with testing completed products to confirm performance.Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area while collaborating with team members to meet production goals.Qualifications2+ years of mechanical assembly experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.Experience building, assembling, or maintaining industrial machinery, pumps, or rotating equipment.Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and ability to identify and resolve equipment issues.Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and assembly drawings.Ability to use measuring tools such as rulers and calipers to verify dimensions and quality standards.Experience with metal fabrication, including cutting, grinding, drilling, and tapping.Welding experience and general fabrication skills are preferred.Strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and commitment to safety and quality.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Why Work Here?You will join a small, close-knit team where leadership sets clear expectations without micromanagement, allowing you to take ownership of your work. The facility employs approximately 60 people, with a small group of about two assemblers in this team, fostering a focused and collaborative atmosphere. You will work primarily with industrial mechanical components, pumps, and fabricated metal parts, using hand and power tools, drills, welding and cutting equipment, grinders, and precision measuring instruments such as calipers and rulers. The schedule is either 1st shift from 6:00am - 2:30pm or 2nd shift, from 2:00pm - 10:30pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime available as needed to support production demands. The environment emphasizes cleanliness, organization, and safe operation of tools and equipment.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of EXTON, PA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
