Forward Air is seeking a skilled Mechanic to keep our transportation fleet operating safely and reliably in a fast-paced logistics environment. In this role, you will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on tractors, trailers, and related equipment supporting expedited LTL and intermodal operations. You’ll complete DOT inspections, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, and respond to breakdowns to minimize downtime.
Working in a safety-focused, performance-driven culture, you’ll collaborate with drivers and operations teams while maintaining accurate maintenance records and a clean, compliant shop.
