Mechanical & Shop Manager - Toledo, Ohio. Leads a busy mechanic shop and new school bus dealership, focused on service, productivity, and quality goals.
Responsibilities
- Supervise all shop activities, ensuring efficient workflow and quality standards.
- Manage shop scheduling, parts inventory, and work orders for heavy truck and bus repair projects.
- Maintain safety and regulatory compliance while overseeing daily operations.
- Communicate effectively with service technicians, sales staff, and customers.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of management experience in a automotive or heavy vehicle service environment.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on mechanical experience in heavy truck and bus repairs.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Good driving record (CDL preferred) and personal tools.
- Excellent communication skills.
Work schedule: Monday through Friday with weekends off.
