Forward Air is seeking a skilled Mechanic to keep our expedited LTL and intermodal fleet operating safely and reliably. In this on-site role, you’ll inspect, diagnose, and repair trucks, trailers, and related equipment, performing preventive maintenance, safety checks, and road-call support. You will troubleshoot diesel engines, brakes, electrical, and hydraulic systems, ensuring compliance with DOT and company standards.
Working in a fast-paced, safety-focused shop, you’ll collaborate with drivers and operations to minimize downtime and keep freight moving across our nationwide network.
