In this role, you will design, develop, and enhance modern web applications that support mission-critical enterprise services relied upon by a broad user community.

You will play a key role in evolving mature applications by delivering responsive, scalable, and intuitive user interfaces while introducing modern front-end development practices and UI/UX enhancements. The ideal candidate is a collaborative software engineer with strong React and JavaScript expertise who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, improving user experiences, and developing secure, high-performance web applications.Primary ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and maintain modern, responsive front-end applications using React and JavaScriptDevelop reusable, component-based user interface solutions that improve application performance, scalability, and maintainabilityCollaborate with back-end developers, system architects, UI/UX designers, and mission stakeholders to implement seamless end-to-end solutionsEnhance existing enterprise applications by introducing modern front-end frameworks, design patterns, and user experience improvementsParticipate in requirements analysis, software design, implementation, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment activitiesPerform peer code reviews and contribute to software quality, security, and development best practices.Troubleshoot application issues and implement performance optimizations across front-end components.Support the modernization of an established codebase while ensuring operational continuity and system reliabilityDevelop and maintain technical documentation supporting software designs, interfaces, and implementation activitiesParticipate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, code reviews, demonstrations, and retrospectivesContinuously evaluate emerging front-end technologies and recommend improvements to development processes and application architectureRequired QualificationsMust have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope PolygraphMinimum of fourteen (14) years of experience as a Software Engineer supporting programs of similar scope, type, and complexityBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management, or a related technical discipline. Four (4) additional years of directly related Software Engineering experience may be substituted in lieu of the degree requirementHands-on experience developing front-end applications using ReactStrong proficiency with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3Experience developing responsive web applications and component-based user interfacesExperience working within Agile software development environmentsStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDesired QualificationsExperience with Redux or similar state management librariesFamiliarity with advanced React concepts, including Hooks, Context API, custom hooks, lazy loading, memoization, and performance optimizationExperience developing applications using TypeScriptExperience implementing modern UI/UX design principles and responsive web designFamiliarity with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end applications with back-end servicesExperience with Git, GitLab, or other distributed version control systemsExperience developing secure, scalable enterprise web applicationsExperience supporting Department of Defense or Intelligence Community software development programsExempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans.

Salary is dependent upon the candidate's experience and qualifications.
