The selected candidate will participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, software design and development, installation, integration, testing, validation, enhancement, sustainment, and issue diagnosis and resolution. This position requires experience developing secure, scalable cloud-based applications and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in Agile environments.Primary ResponsibilitiesPerform requirements analysis and translate mission needs into secure, scalable cloud software solutionsDesign, develop, integrate, test, deploy, and sustain cloud-native applications and servicesSupport software installation, configuration, system integration, and operational deployment activitiesConduct software testing, validation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to resolve technical issuesEnhance existing cloud applications by implementing new capabilities, performance improvements, and security updatesCollaborate with software engineers, cloud architects, DevSecOps engineers, and mission stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycleDevelop and maintain technical documentation, software artifacts, and implementation plansParticipate in Agile planning, sprint reviews, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiativesSupport system modernization efforts while maintaining operational continuity and mission readinessEnsure software solutions comply with applicable security, quality, and configuration management requirementsRequired QualificationsMust have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope PolygraphFive (5) or more years of directly related experience in cloud software development, software engineering, or cloud application developmentBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field is highly desired and may substitute for two (2) years of directly related experienceMaster's degree in a related technical field may substitute for four (4) years of directly related experienceExperience designing, developing, integrating, testing, and sustaining cloud-based software solutions.Experience throughout the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenanceStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsCandidates should possess one or more of the following cloud certifications:AWS Certified Developer – AssociateAWS DevOps Engineer – ProfessionalCertified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)Elastic Certified EngineerDesired QualificationsExperience developing cloud-native applications and microservicesExperience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS)Knowledge of containerization technologies and KubernetesExperience supporting DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)Familiarity with distributed systems, cloud security best practices, and scalable application architecturesExperience working in Agile software development environments supporting DoD or Intelligence Community missionsExempt hourly position.
