To support the Admission Status Review team, the part-time salaried MD Physician Advisor will proactively review cases for compliance and admission status, engaging with attending physicians and hospital teams while working remotely across various locations. Key responsibilities: Proactively review and analyze cases to ensure compliant admission status and reduce denial risks Engage with attending physicians and hospital utilization review teams to discuss case determinations Respond to customer inquiries within 1-2 hours and maintain quality and productivity standards during scheduled hours Required qualifications: Active, unrestricted U.S. MD or DO medical licensure At least 3 years of post-residency experience focused on inpatient treatment Strong clinical knowledge across multiple specialties Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, with a commitment to weekend hours Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
