MD Intensivist-per diem/relief

Job Description

MD Intensivist – Intensivist Services – Per diem/relief position at Bellingham, Washington. PeaceHealth St. Joseph Medical Center is a 253‑bed, two‑campus hospital serving the northwest Washington region.

Compensation – $267.42 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide interdisciplinary critical care in the combined 24‑bed ICU and Stepdown unit.
• Manage high‑acuity patients, including medical, cardiothoracic surgery, trauma, neurosurgery, and vascular surgery cases.
• Conduct consults throughout St. Joseph Medical Center, including the Emergency Department.
• Adhere to a 7‑on / 7‑off schedule with balanced 12‑hour day and night shifts; swing shift covered by Pulmonary/Critical Care physicians on the Intensivist team.

Qualifications

• Board certified physician (MD or DO) with fellowship in Critical Care Medicine.
• Interest in working on a relief/per diem, as‑needed basis.
• Enthusiasm for providing care for complex and critically ill patients as part of an interdisciplinary team.
