The Marine Corps Cyberspace Operations (MCCO) Tool Developer program builds custom software that supports real-world cyber missions.

Developers create tools that help defend Marine networks, identify vulnerabilities, automate cyber tasks, and support authorized offensive cyber operations. Meade, MD:Provide Software Test and Evaluation Capability - plan, prepare, and perform testing, evaluation, verification, and validation of software to evaluate results against specifications, requirements, and operational need.Developing and maintaining comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure that software meets specifications, requirements, and operational needsConducting unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and acceptance testing to identify and report defects and discrepanciesEvaluating software performance, scalability, and reliability to ensure that it meets operational requirementsVerifying that software meets functional and non-functional requirements, including security, usability, and accessibilityValidating that software meets operational needs and user expectations, including conducting user acceptance testing and feedback sessionsIdentifying and reporting defects and discrepancies, and collaborating with development teams to resolve issues and implement fixesDeveloping and maintaining test environments, including test data, test scripts, and test toolsConducting testing and evaluation of software in various environments, including development, staging, and productionConducting testing and evaluation of capabilities against various hardware, operating systems, software versions and environmentsCollaborating with stakeholders to develop and refine testing and evaluation strategies, including identifying and prioritizing testing objectives and scopeProviding testing and evaluation results and recommendations to stakeholders, including developers, project managers, and operational usersWhat You'll Need to Succeed Bring your software engineering expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT.
