Maximo Technical Consultant / Developer

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maximo Technical Consultant / Developer with hands‑on experience in Maximo Application Suite (MAS 8/9) and Maximo 7.6.1.x. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configuring, customizing, and integrating Maximo applications while supporting enterprise‑grade deployments on IBM WebSphere Liberty.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, customize, and support IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS 8/9) and Maximo 7.6.1.x environments.
• Develop and implement custom solutions using Java, Automation Scripts, and Maximo’s Integration Framework.
• Design, develop, and manage integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, JMS, and Publish Channels.
• Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot applications on IBM WebSphere Liberty.
• Work on MAS configuration, including user management, workflows, and application setup.
• Collaborate with functional and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth integration across client/server and web‑based architectures.
• Ensure system performance, security, and data integrity across connected systems.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in IBM Maximo Development and Integration.
• Strong experience with MAS 8/9 and Maximo 7.6.1.x.
• Proficiency in Java, JMS, REST/SOAP APIs, and Publish Channels.
• Hands‑on experience with Liberty server configuration and deployment.
• Solid understanding of client/server and web‑based system architectures.
• Experience in MAS configuration and customization.
• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Kubernetes/OpenShift environments (if MAS cloud‑hosted).
• Familiarity with Database Administration (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server).
• Experience working with enterprise asset management (EAM) solutions.
