Maximo Software EngineerVSolvit LLC is currently seeking a Maximo Software Engineer who will lead efforts to identify and deliver Maximo Asset Management solutions to our U.S. Navy client emphasizing customer commitment, industry best practices, and continuous improvement. This position will participate and focus on Maximo solutions through all delivery lifecycle stages of a typical software implementation or upgrade.
This position will be working directly with stakeholders and must be able to communicate effectively via phone and web conferencing.As with any position, additional expectations exist. Some of these are, but are not limited to, adhering to normal working hours, meeting deadlines, following company policies as outlined by the Employee Handbook, communicating regularly with assigned supervisor(s), and staying focused on the assigned tasks including company meetings, and completing other tasks as assigned.ResponsibilitiesDesign, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirementsDevelop and modify Oracle database objects - Packages, Procedures, Triggers, etcStrong grasp on designing and building interfaces with complex patterns using Maximo Integration FrameworkDevelop Integrations specification for integrations between Maximo and other systemsAnalyzing functional requirements to identify technical solutions that meet the business needStrong experience designing, developing, and migrating integrations based on the Maximo Integration FrameworkAssisting in testing and implementing updates and changes to integrationsFollowing guidelines, procedures, and standards for solution development and supportCreating and updating technical documentation of technical solutions and support processesProviding production support outside of business hours when neededUtilizing version control tools to manage multiple revisions of source code3+ years of software development experience with Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) is preferredBasic Qualifications3+ years Maximo specific development experience, including; MBO customization, application and Maximo Integration Framework3+ years of JSON based Rest API Programing for both Inbound and Outbound Interfaces3+ years database programming including SQL Queries, Oracle Procedural Language PL/SQL and very conversant with Package, Procedure, Function and Trigger in an Oracle 19c or higher database3+ years unit and system testingAbility to work with industry standard integration technologies for batch and real-time integration3+ years' experience with Maximo performance monitoring technologiesFollow mature software development practices3+ years' Maximo Enterprise Asset Management experience3+ years working in team Maximo Development, customization and enhancement environment3+ years working with Business Analysts and or client to translate requirements into technical solutions3+ years Java/Maximo DevelopmentMust be a U.S CitizenMust be able to obtain and maintain Secret level clearanceMust have the ability to obtain and maintain a CompTIA Security+ certificationIf applicable: If you are or have been recently employed by the U.S. government, a post-employment ethics letter will be required if employment with VSolvit is offeredPreferred QualificationsExperience with Maximo integration technologies (Object structures, services, channels, etc…)Experience with programming and consuming Web Services and publishing Web ServicesExperience with a Data IntegrationWork with Maximo 7.6 and MAS 8/9Direct hands on experience with BIRT reportsExperience with SQL and database design, Oracle 19c or higherStrong communication and verbal skillsExperience working in Agile or other formal software development environmentsTrack record on developing high quality product software on scheduleCertified Maximo 7 or MAS practitionersJoin the VSolvit Team!
