Senior Digital StrategistMaven Strategies is seeking a Senior Digital Associate to provide digital and communications support to its clients, which include electoral campaigns and advocacy organizations. The ideal candidate will be prepared to carry out this position's primary duty of writing copy and using digital tools to engage supporters and raise funds.Responsibilities:Ideate, write, proofread, and execute message-focused email and SMS fundraising programs for multiple clients across multiple platformsWork in coordination with finance teams to integrate digital fundraising goals into overall plansCreate ongoing analytics reports from clients' digital programsBuild and maintain websitesCreate online signup and engagement formsLaunch social media accountsCreate graphics using client brandingWrite and manage acquisition plans and digital ad campaignsDesired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, political science, public policy, or a related field preferredPreviously worked 2-4 election cycles with a progressive electoral campaign, advocacy organization, or nonprofitStrong persuasive writing skills and the ability to draft copy quickly while maintaining attention to detailWillingness to quickly learn new skills and digital toolsExcellent project and time management skills, ability to organize and prioritize around long term and short term goals, track progress, and analyze outcomesSuperior interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clientsDetail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environmentPreferred skills:Experience writing political fundraising emails and SMS messagesExperience working with email CRMs or online organizing platforms (EveryAction/NGP, ActBlue, Action Network)Experience or familiarity with texting SMS platforms (Switchboard, Get Thru or others)Ability to build and maintain websites using WordPress and WixExperience designing digital and print graphics (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop or InDesign); video editing experience is a plusUnderstanding of paid and organic social media copywriting and best practicesFamiliarity with Facebook Ads and Google Ads
