Role Overview

Apply advanced mathematics expertise to help train next-generation AI systems through accurate, rigorous, and educational content. This remote contract role focuses on complex undergraduate- and graduate-level mathematics work; prior AI experience is not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive, accurate responses to complex mathematics prompts across undergraduate and graduate curricula.
• Review, refine, and deliver high-quality reference answers for AI training.
• Analyze mathematical problems, proofs, and concepts, then present structured, accessible explanations.
• Collaborate with a distributed expert team to maintain clarity, precision, and educational value.
• Provide feedback that improves project guidelines, response standards, and content workflows.
• Meet project requirements for format, quality, and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• PhD in Mathematics or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Strong academic record and demonstrated graduate-level subject-matter expertise.
• Knowledge of calculus, research methodology, mathematics, and multiple branches of pure and applied mathematics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
• Experience authoring or reviewing mathematics materials, such as textbooks, examinations, problem sets, or journal articles.
• Exceptional attention to detail, commitment to precision, and comfort with collaborative, iterative feedback in a remote environment.

Work Terms

• Remote independent-contractor engagement.
• Compensation is paid per task that meets project specifications; completion time varies based on experience and workflow.
• Minimum submission requirements apply, including a required minimum number of task submissions each week.
• Selected candidates are expected to begin their first tasks within 24 to 48 hours after completing the required onboarding steps.

Compensation

$80 to $90 per hour.
