We are seeking an energetic and experienced Teacher to join our team! As a Teacher at the Huntington Learning Center, you will instruct students one on one or in a small group of 3 to 4 students, instructing a comprehensive educational curriculum designed by the Huntington team of Directors. Your goal is to create a welcoming learning environment and provide students with the tools they need to reach their full potential. The ideal candidate is compassionate, creative, and has a passion for teaching!
Responsibilities:
Instruct students on the Huntington curriculum that meets school standards
Encourage the development of students’ critical thinking skills
Grade in class assignments and provide feedback
Document students’ learning progress
Collaborate with the team to create a productive learning environment
Report and document behavioral incidents
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Texas teaching certification (recommended)
Previous experience teaching k-12 students
Understanding of child development principles and best practices in education
Ability to closely adhere to the Huntington curriculum guidelines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
