Leave Replacement - Middle School Math Teacher
Grades 6-8 replacement for teachers on a leave of absence. Length of positions may vary.
Requirements:
- Valid NJ Instructional Certificate (Teacher of Mathematics or 5-8 Subject Matter Specialization - Mathematics)
- Knowledge/experience with NJ Student Learning Standards for Mathematics
- Knowledge of state assessment test specifications (ie: NJSLA Math)
- Ability to analyze data to drive instructional decisions
- Knowledge/Experience with Danielson's Framework for Teaching (a plus)
- Ability to differentiate instruction/rigor by course level (ie: on grade level, accelerated level, and/or high school course content in middle school)
- Willingness to work collaboratively with fellow department members
- Willingness to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Background with implementation of Google Apps for Education
- Bilingual (a plus)
Effective: School Year
Salary:
- Days 1-20 - $130.00 a day
- Day 21+ = $367.00 per day
