Assistant Professor of Maternal-Fetal Medicine

The University of Rochester School of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, is seeking a full-time Maternal-Fetal Medicine physician for an Assistant, Associate, or full Professor position. This role involves providing comprehensive maternal-fetal care to the Upstate NY region as part of a team of nine full-time MFM specialists. The faculty member will engage in a broad spectrum of perinatal medicine, including high-risk obstetrical management, ultrasound procedures, teaching, and research.

• Serve with 8 other full-time MFM's
• Provide complete maternal-fetal care to those within the Upstate NY region

Responsibilities

• Provide full spectrum perinatal medicine
• Provide L&D coverage
• Participate in inpatient high risk obstetrical management
• Participate in outpatient high risk obstetrical management
• Perform ultrasound and ultrasound guided procedures
• Teach fellows, residents and medical students
• Participate in research

Compensation

• The referenced pay range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the base range of compensation for this faculty position.
• Individual salaries will be determined within the job's salary range and established based on (but not limited to) market data, experience and expertise of the individual, and with consideration to related position salaries.
• Alignment of clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
• Salary range: $300,000 - $370,000 Annually

Shift & Schedule

• Limited in-house night call (approximately 2 per month)
• Home (pager) MFM call

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent degree
• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Board certification or eligibility in Maternal Fetal Medicine
• Eligible for NYS license
• Meet all credentialing requirements
• Post offer Drug Screen and Health Assessment required
• Compliance with University and New York State health requirements
• Open to visa sponsorship
