Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician

AdventHealth Medical Group in Melbourne, FL, is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Maternal-Fetal Medicine physician to join its nationally recognized High Risk Pregnancy team. This role offers the opportunity to become the tenth MFM physician in a state-of-the-art program, supported by experienced colleagues and perinatal nurse practitioners. The position focuses on consultative practice within an AIUM-accredited setting, providing expert care in prenatal diagnosis, obstetric ultrasound, and maternal-fetal medicine consultation.

Practice Info

• Join a team of seven full-time and two part-time board-certified MFM physicians, supported by three perinatal nurse practitioners.
• The practice is AIUM-accredited and provides expert care in prenatal diagnosis, obstetric ultrasound, and maternal-fetal medicine consultation.
• Work alongside a highly skilled sonography team that participates in monthly education and a robust quality review program.
• Maintain close collaboration with neonatology and pediatric colleagues through monthly interdisciplinary meetings.
• Occasional opportunities to participate in the OB/GYN residency High-Risk Obstetrics Clinic.
• The practice is part of AdventHealth Medical Group, an integrated, physician-led organization with more than 900 physicians across 60+ specialties.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care in prenatal diagnosis, obstetric ultrasound, and maternal-fetal medicine consultation.
• Provide inpatient consultative coverage.
• Provide telemedicine inpatient consultations for seven affiliated AdventHealth hospitals.

Shift & Schedule

• This is a 100% consultative practice with no deliveries.
• Inpatient consultative coverage averages 5-7 days per month.

Requirements

• BC/BE Maternal-Fetal Medicine physician.
• Experience in fetal echocardiography or CVS is welcomed.
