An urgent locum tenens opportunity is available for a Maternal & Fetal Medicine physician in Indiana from January 2 to January 4, 2027. The clinician will manage complex obstetric cases across inpatient, clinic, and emergency department settings while serving as the sole on-site MFM specialist. Responsibilities include day shifts and mandatory 24-hour call coverage with continuous availability.
Practice Info
- Level 2 trauma designation facility
- Level III obstetric and neonatal facility supporting high-acuity maternal and neonatal care
- Settings include inpatient, clinic, and emergency department
- Case load/PPD: Variable
- Patient population: Adults
Responsibilities
- Provide maternal-fetal medicine coverage across inpatient, clinic, and emergency department settings
- Manage complex obstetric cases throughout each assigned coverage period
- Serve as the sole MFM clinician on site throughout each coverage period
- Fulfill 24-hour call responsibilities and maintain continuous availability during all designated call periods
