Familiarity with automotive customer portals, web-based supply chain platforms, and manufacturing documentation processes.Experience Requirements: 5+ years of experience in materials management, supply chain, production planning, manufacturing operations, or a related field. Previous supervisory, team lead, or operations leadership experience required.

Experience with raw material receiving, inventory control, scheduling, forecasting, procurement, and order management. Knowledge of steel receiving operations, crane operation, forklift operation, vendor coordination, and truck scheduling preferred. Understanding of quality systems, APQP, control plans, product launches, calibrations, and customer-facing quality support.

Experience with IATF and ISO standards, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives. Background in metal stamping, welding, automotive manufacturing, or industrial production environments preferred.Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout a manufacturing facility for extended periods. Frequently reach, bend, and perform tasks requiring the use of hands and arms. Ability to safely lift, carry, push, or move materials weighing up to 45 pounds. Capable of working in both office and production floor environments while following all safety requirements.Job Duties: Support the Materials Manager in overseeing the complete materials lifecycle, from raw material receiving through finished product shipment. Coordinate production scheduling, inventory planning, forecasting, purchasing, and material availability to ensure on-time customer delivery. Manage supplier relationships, vendor communications, truck scheduling, and inventory replenishment activities. Operate or oversee material handling activities, including crane and forklift operations. Monitor inventory accuracy and optimize material flow using ERP/MRP systems and lean manufacturing principles. Support quality management initiatives, audits, product launches, calibration programs, and customer requirements. Lead and develop team members while driving operational performance, productivity, and plant metrics.
