Materials Specialist

Job TitleReceives and fills all supply requisitions from departments including Periodic Automatic Replacement (PAR) and Point of Issue (POI) replenishmentCourier duties as assignedReceives and delivers and/or shelves all incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy of shipments, noting damage or shortagesPrepares request for procurement of materialCompares information on shipping notices to material received or issued to verify accuracy of orderInterfaces directly with staff members of the user departments to determine the need for additions or deletions to the PAR Level Replenishment System for their departmentNotifies the Material Management Director when supplies or special orders are requestedMaintains all equipment utilized in transporting supplies in a manner that ensures reliable and safe operationRestocks utilizing proper rotation, organization, identification, documentation and proper location of stock itemsPerforms additional task as assigned by the DirectorMaintains all areas of materials storage in a neat and organized mannerEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
