Warehouse PositionSHIFT: M-F 6:00 am to 4:30 pm Saturday 6:00 am to 10:00 am. Someone with warehouse experience is critical for this position.
Experience in receiving, shipping and pulling orders. Typical duties include determining the resources necessary to ensure an uninterrupted supply to support production and sales, ensuring that materials are cost-effective, assisting in determining and ensuring the quality of materials, monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with purchasing to maintain adequate levels of parts and raw materials to manufacture the product, working to resolve materials issues while achieving and maintaining inventory business metrics, and finding new suppliers when needed; monitoring cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure best quality at best value.Job examples include being responsible for procurement business system data input and integrity, creating and maintaining bills of material and parts/commodities numbers in supply chain management or other enterprise-wide systems, developing specifications for new contract orders, and providing timely and accurate input on supplier performance and participating in higher level supplier performance review with strategic sourcing.Skill level applies basic job skills and knowledge, typically acquired through limited relevant work experience (1+ years). Typically requires completion of high school diploma or equivalent and may require some related vocational training. Competencies/skill level application follows established procedures, policies, and processes to accomplish tasks. Job scope/complexity duties and tasks are standardized and routine. Acquires skills in adapting procedures, techniques, and/or equipment to meet job requirements in area of specialization.
