Materials Planning & Supplier Coordination Specialist | Utility & Infrastructure Projects
We’re looking for a Materials Planning & Supplier Coordination Specialist to support large-scale utility and infrastructure projects. If you have experience in supply chain, procurement, materials management, or supplier coordination and enjoy working across engineering, project management, inventory, and supplier teams, this is an excellent opportunity to make a direct impact on project success.
What You'll Do:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for material planning, supplier coordination, and delivery visibility
- Manage material forecasting, ordering, expediting, tracking, and readiness for project milestones
- Coordinate with Engineering, Project Management, Inventory, Warehousing, and Field Operations teams
- Monitor supplier commitments, delivery schedules, quality performance, and resolve supply chain issues
- Support sourcing activities, supplier performance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop dashboards, reports, and analytics related to material availability, supplier performance, and forecast accuracy
- Identify material risks, shortages, and delays while proactively driving mitigation plans
- Support QA/QC processes, supplier corrective actions, and root cause analysis efforts
What You Bring:
- 3–7 years of experience in materials management, supply chain, procurement, supplier management, or utility operations
- Experience supporting capital projects within utility, energy, construction, manufacturing, or infrastructure environments
- Strong SAP and SAP MM experience
- Experience with supplier coordination, inventory planning, and material delivery management
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with strong reporting and analytical capabilities
- Experience with Ariba, Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools is highly preferred
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment
