Materials PlannerReady for your next opportunity?Regal Rexnord Cleveland, home of our Nook Brand is currently hiring a Materials Planner.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and maintain detailed production schedules based on customer orders and material availabilityReviews and manages inventory levels to maintain optimal stock while minimizing excess and obsolescenceCoordinate with procurement to ensure required components are available to support the production planMonitor work-in-process (WIP) and adjust schedule to address bottlenecks, labor constraints, equipment downtime or engineering changesAnalyze capacity requirements and recommend adjustments to staffing, shift patterns or machine utilizationCollaborate with manufacturing supervisors to communicate schedule changes, resolve conflicts, and support daily production needsTrack schedule adherence and identify root causes for delays or inefficienciesSupport new product introductions (NPI) by coordinating production readiness, routing setup, and phase-in/phase-out planningMaintain accurate planning data in the ERP system, including routings, lead times, and work center capacitiesParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline planning processes and improve operational performanceOther duties as assigned by management.Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree preferred2+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operationsProficiency with ERP/MRP systems (Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, Epicor, or similar)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to interpret BOMs, routings, and manufacturing process flowsPositive "can do" attitude, professional demeanor, performance oriented, and strong customer focusExcellent organizational and multi-tasking skillsAbility to follow and perform off of verbal instructions as well as read/write in EnglishAbility to read specifications, route sheets, blueprints, charts, test information and bills of materialComputer proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and OutlookSolid basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, ratios)Ability to work with minimal supervisionThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation for all statewide locations across the United States.
