What You'll Do
- Lead materials planning, inventory management, warehousing, shipping, receiving, and logistics operations.
- Ensure the right materials are available to support production and customer demand.
- Drive inventory accuracy and optimize material flow throughout the facility.
- Partner closely with Operations, Production, Engineering, and Quality teams.
- Improve processes, identify efficiencies, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coach and develop a team while fostering a collaborative, accountable culture.
What We're Looking For
- Experience leading materials, supply chain, production planning, inventory, or logistics functions within manufacturing.
- Strong understanding of inventory control, ERP/MRP systems, and production environments.
- Proven ability to balance strategic planning with day-to-day operational execution.
- Hands-on leadership style with a willingness to be visible on the floor and engaged with the team.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Preferred Experience
- Die casting, metal manufacturing, machining, foundry, or other high-volume manufacturing environments.
- Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- APICS/CPIM, CSCP, or similar certifications.
