Our strategy includes building teams across our global network to pioneer and shape the future of PCI.Position Title: Materials Handler ILocation: Bedford, NHDepartment: Materials - OperationsReporting To: Manager - MaterialsResponsible For (Staff): NoThe Materials Handler I assists in the day-to-day activities relating to inventory control functions supporting pharmaceutical fill/finish operations.

The main responsibility of this position is to assist with all aspects of logistics such as receiving, shipping, data entry, inventory control, labeling and maintaining all associated cGMP documentation as needed. Additional responsibilities include creating and updating log sheets and inventory cards, shipping activities, and all inventory movement functions including updating databases, labeling and maintaining all associated cGMP documentation.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Loads and/or unloads material between dock and truck with hand truck where applicable. Moves materials between statuses and locations within the plantsProcesses delivered materials according to procedure placing an added immediacy on temperature sensitive receipts. Delivers received shipments accordinglyPrepares work-in-process (WIP) and lot specific kits supporting ManufacturingProcesses manufacturing and shipping supplies as outlined in proceduresRecords and maintains accurate inventory logs for all manufacturing components.

Reports on inventoryAttends semi-annual DOT and IATA training as requiredConducts materials handling operations in strict accordance with written SOPsPerforms cycle counts, expiration date maintenance and maintains all material storage locationsAssures that operations are conducted in compliance with strict cGMP proceduresCompletes chain of custody forms and updates all receiving logsIssues lot numbers to incoming materials per established procedureCompletes QC test requests for sampling and testing of raw materialsPerforms other duties as requiredQualifications:Required:Minimum of 1 year's experienceMust possess a valid driver's licenseHigh School or Equivalency Basic math and computer skills; ability to use Microsoft SuiteGood written and oral communication skillsAbility to follow instructions and established proceduresAbility to prioritize, to ensure the key actions are followed throughPreferred:Strong commitment to excellence and quality with a positive working attitudeKnowledge of ERP software is most helpfulAPICS coursework or certification helpful, but not requiredStrong initiative, reliable, follows instructions both verbal and writtenTeam oriented with good interpersonal skillsJoin us and be part of building the bridge between life changing therapies and patients.
