Materials Department Manager

This Materials Department Manager is responsible for leading the overall performance and growth of the department by overseeing project execution, client satisfaction, profitability, quality, and safety. The role manages daily operations, including staff development, recruiting, onboarding, performance management, resource utilization, and adherence to company policies and standards. Key responsibilities include preparing proposals and cost estimates, managing project risks, monitoring quality and safety programs, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring projects and deliverables are completed on time and to client expectations. In partnership with the Office Manager, the position supports business development, client relationship management, workforce planning, execution of the department business plan, and achievement of key metrics such as revenue growth, utilization, billing, collections, and project profitability.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science or Geology and 5 years’ practice experience.
• Or minimum of 9 years’ related experience without degree

Compensation:

$105,000 to $120,000 per year annual salary.
