Materials CoordinatorJoin our team as a Materials Coordinator at Vista Aircraft Maintenance Van Nuys. We are an FAA-approved Part 145 Repair Station dedicated to providing comprehensive aircraft maintenance services. With a complete range of nose-to-tail care, we specialize in airframe, powerplant, and avionics maintenance, inspection, and repair for the Vista fleet.At Vista Aircraft Maintenance Van Nuys, we foster an enriching work environment where no two days are the same.

While working in our state-of-the-art maintenance facilities you will have the opportunity to learn from the best in the industry through professional training and mentorship.Your ResponsibilitiesSource parts and materials for aircraft maintenance and inventory.Establish/maintain relationships with vendors to ensure we obtain the best pricing and highest quality serviceProvide quotes internally and externally while ensuring that profit margins are maintainedManage purchase orders to vendors and suppliersMonitor outside services to ensure on-time deliveryPick up and deliver parts and materials as neededPerform receiving inspection of parts and materials to ensure conformity with FAA regulations and customer requirementsProcess core returns to vendorsEnsure conformity with FAA regulatory requirements (Calibration, certification, shelf life, parts quarantine)Perform regular inventory, cycle counts and maintain min/max requirementsEnsure accurate assignment and billing of parts to work orders.Maintain cleanliness and organization of parts departmentSupport after hours "On-Call" (AOG) support on a rotational basis as requiredFlexible schedule as required to meet the demand of the business.Required Education and ExperienceHS Diploma RequiredKnowledge of corporate aircraft parts preferred.
