Materials CoordinatorLocation: Niagara Falls, NYSalary: $90,000 -$111,800 Schedule: 9/80 or 5-8sFocus: The Materials Coordinator is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory levels in warehouse areas as well as improving shipping performance, quality, and reliability. This role will coordinate with procurement, maintenance, and warehouse teams to ensure timely availability of materials by owning the "waiting on materials" backlog of planned maintenance work in SAP. The Materials Coordinator will also analyze inventory data to identify trends, reduce waste, and support continuous improvement initiativesEssential Functions:Develop, review, and revise metrics/measurements that monitor key plant inventory control points and quality control pointsIdentify improvement opportunities through customer feedback and through programs driven by the businessWork with activity scheduler on COA issues and with carriers & loaders on prior content issuesServe as a Subject Matter Expert for S4 Warehouse Management System; QN focal point for damaged/return material and customer complaints; Procurement Liaison for Packaged Supplies (labels, pallets, caps, etc.)Work with master data team/procurement to set up new materials in S4Evaluate inventory trends to improve stock efficiency, limit excess materials, and drive operational improvementsMinimum Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree* in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferredMinimum of 3 years experience in production or maintenance in a chemical manufacturing environment requiredWarehouse material handling or other relevant experience preferredMust be able to work call-ins and overtime when support is neededAvailability to work shifts including weekends and holidays as neededProficiency with SAP preferredProficiency with Microsoft applications requiredPrior Olin experience in a relevant position preferredAn All-In Investment in Your Future As a global leader in both chemical manufacturing and ammunition, Olin empowers over 8,000 individuals to make an impact both at work and in our surrounding communities.
