MATERIALS COORDINATOR - 1st Shift

Job TitleEssential Duties:Use and review shipment schedule.Understand current/potential expedites during shift.Coordinates assignments and responsibilities to the scheduled team members.Pre-shift Safety Walk to advise team on items to address and current conditions.Green Circle Meeting- Prep/Delivery- ANY UNSAFE CONDITIONS.Coordinate shipping dock operationsUnderstand priority of customers as assigned by Materials Specialist or Materials Team Leader.Understanding of current customer condition to ensure proper flow of standard delivery, expedite mode, critical deliveries.Coordinates the order/load flow to staging; assess time before load out and window time.Coordinates dunnage handling and customer/route specific requirements.Shipment Close and CommunicationConfirmation of ASN/Short Ship/Customer ContactProcess/Operations Failure Escalation ProcessQualifications Required:Minimum 2 years recent supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).Ability to utilize a computer-based inventory control system.Proven ability to lead and motivate to create positive work environment including team building, problem solving, and conflict resolution skills.Resolution of employee-related issues including mentoring and training.Ability to multi-task.Excellent customer relations and communication skills (written and verbal).Proficient in the English language (verbal and written).Without assistance, must be able to occasionally lift, carry, push and/or pull objects weighing from 1 to 70 lbs.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
