Materials AssociateSaint Luke's South Hospital in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Materials Associate to join our team. In this position you will be responsible for receiving product, delivering departmental supplies, stocking inventoried supplies, picking and staging supplies to fill par levels and departmental orders, managing out-dates, accurately and timely managing code carts and other critical procedure carts replenishment, locating recalled items and process for return shipment, maintaining departmental orderliness, rotating stock, cycle counting inventory, annual physical inventory, and all other duties assigned.Shift Details: Full Time 40 Hours a week- Weekend rotationResponsibilities:Must be able to lift 50 pounds, unload trucks, handle storeroom equipmentEnters data in hospital Materials Management Information SystemClean and disinfect medical equipment between patient use to assure it is ready for next patient useAssists with the daily movement of linen cartsAble to operate a hand pallet jackAble to utilize various electronic devices for order takingMay also be asked, from time to time, to work at other SLHS CS locationsWe are seeking a Materials Associate with proficient math skills as well as great communication skills – written and oral.
