This is a hands-on leadership role focused on improving operational execution, developing the team, strengthening processes, and ensuring materials are available to support production.The position reports to the Senior Operations Manager and will lead the Production Controller and Warehouse Supervisor, with broader oversight of the materials and warehouse team.Key Responsibilities Lead production planning and develop achievable schedules based on capacity, material availability, and operational constraintsMonitor schedule attainment and coordinate recovery actions when production commitments are missedLead inventory control, cycle counting, reconciliation, and physical inventory readinessOversee warehouse operations including receiving, storage, material movement, picking, kitting, and material presentationEnsure materials are available when production work is released and reduce material-related shortagesLead WMS implementation, training, process adoption, and long-term sustainmentImprove inventory and bin-location accuracy through standard work, audits, and system disciplineUse ERP, WMS, Excel, Power BI, KPIs, and other technology to improve visibility and operational performanceCoach and develop supervisors, team leads, and employees while strengthening accountability and independent problem-solvingLead continuous improvement initiatives and ensure improvements are sustainedPartner closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Shipping, and other departmentsQualifications:7+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing, production planning, materials management, inventory control, warehousing, logistics, supply chain, or a related operational environment3+ years of leadership experience managing employees, team leads, supervisors, or operational functionsStrong knowledge of production scheduling, inventory control, material flow, and warehouse operationsExperience working with ERP systems; SAP experience preferredDemonstrated success improving operational processes and driving projects through completionStrong leadership, coaching, accountability, communication, and problem-solving skillsManufacturing experience strongly preferred, particularly in low-volume, high-mix, engineer-to-order, or complex manufacturingWMS implementation or optimization experience preferredLean, 5S, continuous improvement, or process-standardization experience preferredExperience with Excel, Power BI, dashboards, KPIs, automation, or other technology-driven operational tools is a plusBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be consideredWhy is This a Great Opportunity :Why Join?This is more than a day-to-day materials management position.
