Apply now!Wage: $21.00/hourShift: 1stHours: 5:00am - 3:30pm (Monday - Thursday, Possible Overtime on Fridays)Material Specialist Responsibilities:Operating material handling equipment safely and efficientlyTransporting materials, components, and products throughout the facility, production, or designated work areas to support production needsUtilizing ERP systems and handheld scanners for material movements and ensuring transactions are properly recordedDelivering raw materials and finished goods to internal and external customers in a timely mannerPackaging products according to specific customer and shipping requirementsInvestigating and resolving inventory discrepanciesCollaborating with team across departments to ensure smooth operationsAdhering to all procedures, safety standards, and company policiesAssisting in production as neededRequirements for Material Specialist:- High School Diploma or equivalent- Previous sit-down forklift experience and RF scanner experience required- Strong computer skills- Ability to walk/stand for 8-10 hours- Strong attention to detail and accuracy- Effective communication skills- Ability to lift/move 40-50 pounds regularlyQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
