Material SpecialistLocation: Rockledge, FL, US, 32955 Career area: Production Department: Shipping & Receiving Job Type: PermanentWhat you will be doing:Enter data to computer to generate finished good labelling in preparation for shipments.Follow all quality inspections required for finished good packagingCalculate dimensions and weights as required.Ensured documented packing instructions are verified and processedRespond to inquiries, provide directions and other information to operators as needed.Prepare any range of special or periodic reports relating to departmental activity.Finished goods inventory processingManage overflow and work in process partial finished goods out-processingMaintains work area in a clean and orderly condition in accordance with 5 S standards.Requires the ability to perform all duties within limitation of the standard methods and procedures, and in accordance with strict adherence to HSE, quality and productivity requirements.Perform other related duties as assignedEnsure quality sampling requirements are met in accordance with all documented requirementsSupport shipping department as requiredWhat will make you successful?Strong Mathematics SkillsStrong typing and PC Skills (Data Entry, Word Processing, Excel Spreadsheet)Excellent attention to DetailGood written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectivelyKnowledge of process related standardsProven ability to develop successful partnerships with internal and external team members
